COCONUT FIBER

Coconut fiber (also known as coir fiber) is made from the natural coconuts outer shell.

Coconut fiber manufacturing process:

1. Harvesting and husking: After harvested, the outer shell of the coconut is removed immediately.

2. Retting: the outer shell of the coconut is soaked in water to soften the fibers.

 

 

3. Defibering: using machines to separate the fibers from the pith and the outer skin.

4. Finishing: the fibers are washed and dried to remove any dirt or impurities.
