JUTE FABRIC

WHAT IS JUTE FABRIC?

Jute fabric is made from natural cellulose fibers of the jute plant.

 

JUTE FABRIC MANUFACTURING PROCESS

1. Harvesting: After harvesting, jute stems are defoliated.

2. Retting: The stems are soaked in water during approximately 20 days which helps the fibers to separate from the stems.

3. Separating & combing: The long, silky fibers are separated and combed into vertical length of yarn.

4. Spinning: These combed fibers are spun into yarn by using automated machines.

5. Finishing: The fibers are being processed through chemical dyeing and mix with other substances to enhance its anti-proof and anti-fire properties.

APPLIFICATIONS OF JUTE FABRIC:
